QWC in practice according to Céline, HR at 1+1=3
You may be wondering whether a QWC approach is right for your company: is it really relevant to you? Isn't implementing a QWC approach too complex and time-consuming?
It's true that QWL is often presented as the ideal solution to the challenges of talent retention, recruitment and sick leave reduction. But is it really all true?
If you're the kind of person who only believes what you see, you've come to the right place for answers. Céline, Human Resources Manager at 1+1=3, your Assistant, has integrated QWL into her company strategy and shares with us the tangible results of this approach.
Why adopt a QVCT approach?
1+1=3 Votre Assistante is a telephone secretarial team for business, healthcare and legal professionals. Tele-secretaries are therefore confronted throughout the day with a multitude of customers and patients, who can sometimes be unhappy or impatient. The result: a not inconsiderable impact on employees' health.
Beyond that, for Marie-Paule, the company's founder, it was a matter of course to look after the well-being of her employees right from the start. And when they launched their CSR approach, the social aspect was never put aside! QVCT was therefore a natural choice for the company, which decided to join forces with Moha.
Quality of life at work, a complicated subject?
You may be wondering whether embarking on a QHCT process requires a lot of effort, time and change. So we asked Céline how things went at 1+1=3, Votre Assistante.
"We began by making the Moha app available to female employees, enabling everyone to take stock of their physical, mental and relational health, and to access personalized content." The employees themselves had the autonomy to use the application as they wished, and the feedback was satisfactory!
But after a while, 1+1=3, Votre Assistante decided to go even further, by acting on the QVCT. For this, Moha was the obvious choice.
The tangible benefits of QWL on well-being at work
Easier recruitment and an enhanced employer brand
One of the most striking aspects is undoubtedly recruitment. "Now I often receive unsolicited applications, even when I'm not looking to recruit. The company's influence is felt externally, and the employees themselves recommend their workplace because they feel good there.
"It's incredible for a company today to have no recruitment difficulties at all," says Céline, and we agree that this point is far from negligible. The employer brand is really enhanced when you have a good quality of life at work, and we feel it at 1+1=3, Votre Assistante.
A clear vision and valuable data
What's changed with the support we've received is that we're not going ahead blindly, and that we know where the process is heading. The questionnaires sent out to employees really help us to identify areas for improvement, and to implement appropriate actions. The platform gives us access to quantified data, which is invaluable for taking action. We have an overall QHV score, as well as a score by dimension (social relations, working conditions, managerial practices, etc.). We know where we need to focus if we are to have an approach that really makes sense and has an impact.
A sense of well-being at work that is felt every day
Our employees say it: they feel good at 1+1=3, Votre Assistante! Many of them even recommend the company to friends and family, which explains the large number of unsolicited applications, no doubt linked to the sense of well-being they feel! You can even feel it at the end-of-year interviews: "During the annual interviews, none of them asked me for a raise!" Céline told us. Which seems to confirm that they feel good where they are.
The benefits of QWL for the employee experience
- It's easy to set up, and has many advantages!
- Easier recruitment and an enhanced employer brand
- Essential data to guide the process
- This support is more than welcome, to help you manage your QVCT as effectively as possible.
We can also help you, and we'll adapt to your every need. We challenge you to come up with a QVCT situation where we can't help!
Many thanks to Céline for taking the time to give us her feedback!
