DUNE Energie wins the Happeople label!

They've done it! One of the companies we support, DUNE Energie, has been awarded the Happeople label: the label by Moha that rewards companies that are truly committed to people.

But who is DUNE Energie, the company that is reaching new heights with this new label? Estelle JOUSSE, the company's HR Director, talks about the label and all the benefits it has brought them.

Discover DUNE Energie in a few words

As an energy broker for professionals, DUNE Energie is first and foremost a company committed to the environment and people.

With over 90 employees and an ever-growing workforce, the challenges are obvious:

  • Retaining talent by promoting well-being at work
  • Improving employee health and optimizing performance
  • Develop their employer brand to help recruit new talent

They decided to respond to these challenges by improving their QVCT approach with Moha, and going even further by taking steps to obtain the Happeople label.

Before starting this process with Moha, was QWL already a topic for you?

Estelle JOUSSE, Human Resources Director, told us that QVCT was already a topic in the company, and that several things were put in place to contribute to the well-being of employees, including:

  • A 35-hour week for a better work-life balance
  • 100% coverage of health insurance and public transport costs
  • An idea box, where anyone can submit an idea for consideration
  • Free tea, coffee and fruit to take a break. As well as the organization of various social events (quarterly events, celebration of personal successes, Candlemas, free breakfast/lunch, etc.).
  • Great places to live!
  • Training (internal and external) and anticipating work overload by recruiting new employees
  • Involvement and communication on the company's associative commitments. "We have raised our teams' awareness of causes such as the fight against cancer with Pink October and Movember, or via our membership of WWF France's Entreprendre pour la Planète Club."

What motivated you to launch this QVCT initiative and certification?

"At DUNE Energie, what motivated us to undertake a Quality of Life and Working Conditions approach and obtain a label isour commitment to our employees. We aim to create a working environment where they feel listened to, respected and supported. This approach reflects our sincere desire to make their well-being a priority and to position ourselves as a company that cares about their professional and personal fulfillment."

Estelle JOUSSE is also aware of something that every company should know: "It's obvious that we perform better when we feel good".

Why was Moha your No. 1 choice?

"We appreciate the proximity we have with Moha. It's important for us to work with a local company on a human scale that offers solutions adapted to our needs. What's more, Moha, like us, is part of theNord Entreprendre network."

"More than just a label, what we like about this collaboration is a set of concrete actions that are proposed to us and that we'll be able to implement."

Positive future impacts for the company

Effective team communication

When DUNE Energie launched the labeling process, it sent out a survey to all its employees, which achieved a 90% participation rate in just 2 hours. "We're grateful to have such committed teams, we believe this level of involvement is the result of open, transparent and regular communication within the company, as well as an environment where everyone feels listened to and valued."

Another factor contributing to this commitment was the launch meeting held with management to raise awareness of the QWL. Employees also received a personalized video summarizing the key points of the launch, so that they could be involved in the process from the outset. We tell you more in this article: Why and how to involve your employees in QWL?

What's more, "over and above the benefits, the label enables us to take stock of what already exists, and to continue on a path of constant improvement".

External improvements to come

The Happeople label will also serve to promote DUNE Energie's commitments externally. Indeed, a good QVCT approach is increasingly sought after by employees, and this contributes positively to recruitment and employer branding. For each company awarded the label, Moha provides a communication kit to publicize the label and their commitments both internally and externally!
